A sincere talk :)

Hello all!

I'm afraid that it will be the last time we see each other. But before leaving, I wanted to reflect on some of my thoughts about this course. As an ELT student and an ELT teacher to be, discovering new perspectives in education is something I could not ask for more as it helps me to grow and shape my mindset according to the needs of the 21st century.
Before coming to university, I have been taught all of my lessons traditionally and I guess it made me miss that spark in technology and other stuff. But thanks to our Educational Technologies course and our dear instructor Dr Kurt, I have seen a lot of new ways to integrate technology in education and I guess, it will help me to catch up with all this news in life.
If to talk about the tasks I have completed during this term, I guess most of them served a different role in our course. So I can not say I did not like x or I loved y etc. With an appropriate approach to tasks according to our students' proficiency level, all of them are quite useful and joyful. But I should admit that sometimes I struggled to finish the tasks even though they were lower than my proficiency level. It is mainly because of the workload of other courses. And as I took 4 extra lessons, it was kind of my problem but still, I wish we had done some comprehensive projects in a large time interval. Otherwise, it was all nice and joyful among other theoretical courses.
However, I really wish I can keep writing and keeping you guys informed about my ELT journal as much as possible. Until next time, stay safe and keep your vibes up with or without me!

irem :)
